How are the artworks packaged?

All artworks are carefully packaged following a standardized process to ensure their safety during transit.

  • Ships in a Cardboard Box
    (For Wrapped Canvas and Framed Paintings)
    The artwork will be shipped flat in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box. We take great care in packaging to meet high standards, ensuring that your artwork is fully supported and secure during its delivery from YmiPainting to your home.

  • Ships in a Wooden Crate
    (For Floating Framed or Large-Size Paintings)
    Floating framed artworks and larger paintings are shipped in a robust wooden crate designed specifically for art transportation. The crate will contain protective materials to keep the artwork securely in place during its journey, and it will be tightly sealed for extra safety.

  • Ships in a Tube
    (For Rolled-Up Canvas Artworks)
    Canvas artworks are rolled and shipped in a dent-resistant tube, which is also secure for oversized pieces. Upon arrival, the rolled canvas can be easily stretched onto stretcher bars or framed by a local framer.


Processing Schedule and Timeframe
All times mentioned below are based on China, Beijing Time Zone.

  • Creating Time:
    The artwork will be hand-painted by a professional artist at YmiPainting within 7-10 business days. The artist who created the original painting will also work on your custom piece. Once the painting is completed, we will send you a photo for review via email.

  • Modification Process (If applicable):
    YmiPainting offers free modification services before the final approval for shipping. This ensures your complete satisfaction with the artwork. You can express all your preferences, such as colors and shades, and the artist will make the necessary adjustments. We will only ship your artwork once you are fully satisfied.
    Please note: Modifications may require more than 3 days, as adjustments take time and we must allow the paint to dry. If multiple rounds of confirmation and updates are required, the modification process may extend accordingly.

  • Framing Process (If applicable):
    If you choose a rolled-up canvas, this step will not apply. For framed pieces, once we receive confirmation of your satisfaction with the painting by 11 a.m. on the same day, we will initiate the framing process, which will take 3-5 calendar days. Once the frame is ready, we will send you a photo for approval via email.

  • Shipping Arrangement:
    Shipments are arranged on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, after receiving your final approval regarding the frame. For example, if we receive your confirmation on Tuesday, your package will be shipped the following day.

  • Tracking Number:
    Tracking information will be generated 2-3 calendar days after shipment, and you will receive the tracking number as soon as it is available from the shipping company.

  • Delivery Time:
    Delivery generally takes 5-10 business days. Free worldwide shipping!


Additional Notes:

  • All packages are shipped with a tracking number using services like FedEx, DHL, UPS, SF International Shipping, Aramex, and others.
  • Delivery time is calculated in business days and excludes weekends and public holidays in both the shipping and receiving countries.
  • International shipping times may vary due to factors such as customs clearance, weather conditions, and unforeseen events like natural disasters or pandemics.
  • The buyer is responsible for any customs fees, VAT, import duties, and warehouse processing fees according to local laws.
  • We deliver worldwide. For countries with complicated customs processes and shipping complexities, such as Russia and Brazil, we reserve the right to cancel orders on a case-by-case basis.
  • The buyer should monitor their tracking and contact the courier company locally for any customs clearance or address-related issues.

Additional Shipping Charges
Extra shipping fees may apply in the following situations:

  • For oversized decor orders exceeding 400 cm (157 inches) in girth, an oversized fee will be charged, excluding areas within the U.S.
  • Girth Calculation: Length + 2*(Height + Width)
  • Buyers in remote areas, island countries, or specific regions may incur additional fees due to population density, local administrative costs, or warehouse processing charges, as determined by the courier company. These remote fees will be collected separately before issuing your tracking number, based on information from the forwarder once your parcel arrives at their warehouse.
  • You will receive an order confirmation email if any extra shipping charge occurs.

FAQs

Q: Is the delivery of the artwork insured?
A: Absolutely! YmiPainting organizes and insures the transport of the artwork. You have nothing to worry about, and there are no hidden costs.

Q: If I buy several artworks, will they be delivered at the same time?
A: It depends on the quantity and size of your paintings. If they are oversized or overweight, you may receive separate cardboard boxes or wooden crates. If separate shipping is necessary, we will inform you via email or WhatsApp in advance.

Q: Can I get artworks delivered to a different country or a different person?
A: We will deliver to the address you provided in your order. Generally, we coordinate the delivery date with the person who will receive the artwork and whose name you’ve given. If it’s a surprise or a gift, please let us know!
